My son went to Washington on a school trip. He brought his own camera but it broke. Since he needed photos for a project, I decided to look online. Looks like you went everywhere they did. Great photos. Thank you.

ATPM's more recent desktop wallpaper images are given a few words description in the direct links at the top of the left column. Beyond that, we offer these pictures as an aesthetic addition to your desktop. The intent has never been for a history lesson to be included with every photo. There are a plethora of sites that are easily searchable that will provide such information.

These pictures turned out really well. I went when I was in 8th grade and i enjoyed it. I'm glad their still doing the whole Washington field trip, b/c its a great learning experience and i know the children will have fun

Thank you for remembering all Vietnam Vets with your photo of the "Wall." Looking at the Pixs is enough, I won't visit the Wall.

i am trying to find a picture print i first saw about eight years ago when my regimental sergeant major flew to washington dc to run the marathon and he was given the print as a momento it shows a veitnam veteran leaning against the memorial wall where his fallen comrades names are displayed and looking out from within the wall are his brothers in arms i found this picture very moving and have been looking for a copy if anyone reading this has any information regards it the please let me know thank you

Where's Union Station, the canal boat with mules (C&O), the Smithsonian Museums especially the beautiful American Inidan??? Pictures are great, but we hunger for more!
